I come to realize that Microsoft Security Essentials Anti-Virus program does not have email security at all. How do i contact yahoo security concerning a bogus email i got from a fake person at facebook?
i ecivd a bogus email yesterday from a fake person at facebook saying i had won 2 million dollars droom facebook and i needed to contact this number(it startyed with an obvious number 44 before the area code( and end them my passport or id so they could send the money to me|||I get these occasionally too. If I am suspicious of an email from Facebook, I query the person it is presumably from, and ask if they sent it. Invariably, they say no. You should never open a suspicious email. Click on the first category in the following link and it will tell what to do. At the bottom there is another link where you can report it. (I'm not sure if you have to sign in to Facebook first before you can open this link.) If this doesn't work, just go to Facebook "help" and type in "fake email from Facebook". That should bring you to the site also.

My guy friend gave me his email address from his work account, but I'm wondering if it's secure. And actually it might be a lil late to ask, but I mentioned something related to "sex" (tape) in the email I sent him. But now I'm afraid it can get him in trouble, help?! Ever since I joined Facebook and it scanned my yahoo contact list for possible "friends", fraudulent emails using my yahoo name are being sent to my contact list (including myself) that are links to male enhancement drugs, sex, etc., have nothing in the subject line, and obviously don't contain my special signature. Why do I have to type the provided security code before email gets sent?
I just paid the $20 bucks for the upgraded service, and now before almost all emails get sent I have to figure out what those twisted letter forms are, type them in. I visited that particular security web site and they offered to open a dialog with your bank to explain why weak passwords were no protection for online banking. I do not think it will make much difference about benefits as they only look at what you made in life and go by those highest amounts. If you are still married at the time of retirement- you usually go with the higher earners wages to base higher payments on.

You can change your password and other account information, but not your security questions. I'm trying to get into an old yahoo name I had from over 5 years ago, but I can't remember the password, alternate email, or the answer to the security question. Security Verification on email is not allowing me to send emails at all. What to do?
I receive emails just fine, but ever since yahoo began asking customers to verify each time you send an email I've had no luck. I am typing the codes in correctly. However, it is still not working. Help!|||Back button and do it again. I`ve had to do it 2 to 3 times on certain occasions.

How do I make the default not checked for 2 wk login on email. This is a security hazard!?
In this age of multiple online security threats, few things are more annoying and stupid then to have the default be to stay logged in. All I have to do is forget to uncheck the box once and my email is compromised. I don't even get why this option exists, no less be the default.|||You can change that default, ya know.
At the top of the mail page---rest your mouse on your "Hi Name"---and click "Account info".
Scroll down to "sign in settings" and click that link.
Then click the down arrow by "2 weeks" and select "one day" (the only other choice).
Then "save changes" or click "finished".
You can also just override that default setting (of 2 weeks), by clicking "sign out" everytime you leave the mail page.
