How do i check email security settings and send an attachment?

email will not send as attachment|||it is possible you are sending a file that is too large...This is what I do when sending something

First, we have to get what you want to attach to your DESKTOP.

RIGHT clicking on those items usually pops up a box and gives you the option of where to send it...I send it to the DESKTOP. You will get an icon for it, which you can delete by right clicking on it after you are done.

Sometimes when you RIGHT click on whatever you want to move to the DESKTOP you have to click on SAVE LINK AS....If it is an email that you have opened you can click on SAVE IMAGE AS....

When the next box is displayed and DESKTOP is not in the LOOK IN box at the top click on the arrow on the right side of this box and DESKTOP will be an option. Click on it to place it in the LOOK IN box. The item you want should already be in the FILE NAME box at the bottom. When you click on SAVE you will now have the ICON on your DESKTOP. If you want to delete this icon after you are done RIGHT click on it and that option will be available

If you are in ALL NEW MAIL just click on ATTACH at the top of your new email. Usually five lines will appear with BROWSE at the end of each one. Click on BROWSE at the end of the first line. A box should come up with DESKTOP or some other location in your computer. Which ever one is showing anything that is in it will be displayed below. If DESKTOP is not there click on the down arrow on the right side of this box to display this option. Click on DESKTOP and it will replace what is there. When you find what you want below just click on it and it will go in to the FILE NAME box near the bottom...Click on OPEN and it will end up in the first BROWSE line. You then click on ATTACH on your email page (located just to the left of CANCEL) This will start the download. .

If in MAIL CLASSIC

Go to your email and click on NEW. Then click on ATTACH located just under your subject line. At least five lines will pop up with the word BROWSE on each one of them. Now follow the directions as stated in All New Mail. Repeat for anything else you want to attach. Be careful not to download too much. Mail Classic has a 25mb limit ...In ALL NEW MAIL...below Applications...you can click on ATTACH LARGE FILES and then you will be able to attach up to 100mb.

In addition,,,if the above don't work...click on one of these sites...
