Can you get access to your yahoo email if you forgot password and security answer?

My husband made a yahoo account a loooong time ago, so he forgot what he had put as answer for the security question. About two weeks ago he was asked to change his password by the system and did so, but promptly forgot it. Since then he cannot get into his email and asked me to help him look into what he could do to get access to his account back. Is there a number we can call and talk to someone, or provide any identification?

Thank you!|||https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot?done=h鈥?/a>

Even with all the alternate methods of re-gaining access to an account when a password is forgotten, a user must correctly answer both security questions or Yahoo refuses to help. This is done to protect all users and their accounts - the account is now lost to him completely. Yahoo allows users to invent their own security questions, so for the next account, he should invent his own questions with unchangeable answers, meaningful to him but hard for others to guess - they will not be forgotten that way.
