How do I change my security settings on yahoo email?

Can someone please tell me how I can change me security settings on Yahoo email so that I can open up attachments which are emailed to me in various forms i.e. PDF format, Excel and Word documents?





I have a wireless connection, and the router is provided by Virgin Media. Does it matter the type of router I have?





Thanks in advance for your response|||To open an email attachment that has PDF extension you need to install a PDF reader, such as Adobe reader, for Excel and Word documents you have to install OpenOffice or Microsoft Office.





Clicking on an email attachment it can be downloaded and saved to the local disk, then opened with a default application. In case no default application is defined to open a PDF, Excel, Word or PowerPoint attachment you can define one when you select the open file command.
